During the 1st quarter of 2009 we were all collectively “holding our breath” as the financial markets were in turmoil and as we are all aware as the economy headed south, charitable demands expanded exponentially. Even though the economy has stabilized, we all know, charity demand does not take a holiday.
We, at VacationHomesforCharity.org, are proud to have been quite successful for 2009. We went into the year with an aggressive goal: wishing to generate $ 250,000 in charitable donations. As we approach the holiday season we are proud to announce we generated $215,525 in charitable donations.
Yes, we missed our aggressive goal; however, we are quite proud of our achievements as are our partner charities. The following are just a few “success stories” from 2009 and we all look forward to a productive and charitable 2010.
