Our Mission: Enriching the Lives of Low-Income Seniorsdwf-logo1

The Foundation will be achieving this through our “Wish of a Lifetime Program“. Most elderly men and women have something in their life that they always wanted to do or see, but because most of their discretionary income and lifelong savings goes towards paying medical bills and other expenses, they are often not able to live out these dreams. Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime Foundation aims to make those dreams come true.

Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime (JBWL) enriches the lives of low-income seniors.  JBWL was established by two-time Olympic Skier, former NFL football player and Colorado native Jeremy Bloom.  Bloom launched the Foundation with a vision to initiate a cultural change by granting the wish of a lifetime to deserving seniors throughout the Rocky Mountain State.  The Colorado-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization was lunched in Spring 2008 as The Donna Wheeler Foundation.  Bloom founded the foundation in living honor of his grandmother, Donna Wheeler, who at the age of 83 still works and lives in Keystone and serves as a constant inspiration to Bloom in his athletic and professional endeavors.  Later, the Foundation was officially named Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime to establish a solid brand identity as we grow and develop future chapters in years to come.

At JBWL we believe that most low-income seniors have one thing in their life that they have always wanted to do or experience.  However, because most of their income and/or life savings is spent on necessary living expenses and medical bills, often times they never get to experience these dreams.  Through JBWL and with your support, we will make those wishes come true, contributing to an American cultural change that honors and celebrates the lives of our elders.
