For 13 years, the Red Wagon Ball has been the most important fundraising opportunity for Advocates for Children, accounting for about one-third of our annual income.
Each year, Advocates for Children provides about 300 CASA — court appointed special advocate — volunteers for over 700 child victims of abuse and neglect.
It costs about $1,000 to serve one child. But thus far, we have been able to provide CASA volunteers to only half the children who need one.
Because we want to make sure that every child victim of abuse and neglect has a CASA volunteer at his or her side, we need your help.

The twelfth annual Red Wagon Ball on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Ritz-Carlton, brought together more than 350 civic, social and business leaders in a tribute to Jo Blum of Families First and to help raise more than $250,000 for abused and neglected kids.
