Kill Shelter is a non-profit, volunteer organization which rescues abandoned dogs/puppies and cats/kittens, provides appropriate veterinary care, and places them in permanent homes through adoption. HSFC receives no funds from Forsyth County , the State of Georgia , the Humane Society of the U.S. , or any other organization. The Shelter is funded entirely through private donations and fundraising events. All proceeds go toward shelter operations, veterinary care, and feeding/caring for the animals.
