The Buffs 4 Life Foundation is a partnership of former University Of Colorado athletes and business leaders in the greater Denver area. We look forward to building on last years’ success as the foundation continues to grow. We have events taking place on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th with the golf tournament taking place at the Omni Interlocken on Monday, June 29th.
We are excited to be working again with vendors such as Bonefish, Cool River Cantina, Grey Goose and Miller Coors. Participants will also receive a great gift bag with items from Adidas, Reebok and CU apparel. The fee for this years’ tournament is $250 per golfer. We look forward to seeing you again this year! Early registration is recommended.
Event Overview:
Private Sponsor and Player Party- Saturday, June 27th. Buffs 4 Life Foundation will host a private sponsor party @ Earl’s in downtown Denver. This evening, reserved for former players as well as participating sponsors, allows for an intimate “meet and greet” gathering amongst the greatest names CU Football has ever produced! Players who will be present at the private party will include Kordell Stewart, Matt Russell, Darian Hagan, Joel Klatt, Rashaan Salaam, Charles Johnson, Tom Rouen, Alfred Williams, Eric Bieniemy, JJ Flannigan, Solomon Wilcots and more!
Private Pool Party and BBQ- Sunday, June 28th. All sponsors, players and their families are invited to the Omni Interlocken Resort pool to enjoy a catered BBQ against the backdrop of the Flatirons. This promises to be a memorable event and the perfect way to kick off the golf tournament on Monday.
Celebrity Golf Tournament- Monday, June 29th. The Omni Interlocken Golf Resort features 27 holes of championship golf with scenic views of the Flatirons. The golf tournament will feature a 10:30 am shotgun start, leading the way to a day of memories and fun. Buffs 4 Life Foundation has secured the course and facilities for the entire day. We are expecting a full field of golfers on 27 holes. Each foursome will be paired with a former CU Football player and or coach. Approximately 270 players.
Buffs 4 Life is pleased to announce the grand prizes that will be awarded following The Ultimate Putt Competition during the 4th Annual Buffs 4 Life Charity Golf Tournament.:
The grand prize is a 7-night stay in Costa Rica at the Casa de Golf (Casa de Golf), one of the finest and most luxurious vacation homes in the country. With 8 bedrooms sleeping 16+ in comfort, the winner will no doubt have family and newfound friends contacting them for this spectacular golf getaway.
The 2nd prize, closer to home, is a one-week stay at a beautiful Grand Park (www.GrandParkCo.com) mountain chalet within the Arapaho National Forest on the edge of Winter Park surrounded by20the majestic peaks of the Continental Divide.
